Frontside Carver

The term "frontside" refers to the frontside of the mountain. This is the area where all the ski lifts are. Usually it refers to runs on groomers (groomed runs).

The term frontside carver refers to a ski that is meant to be ran on groomers, but isn't as performance oriented as a racing ski. It would be analogous to driving a Dodge Viper instead of an indy car.
