| NOTHING compares to a Leatherman [I give the ti a four star rating only when comparing it to other leathermen]
I rate the Leatherman products in the following order:
1.Charge TTI [Combines the best features of the xti and ti with hooked serrated knife, scissors, but only one bit driver]
2.Charge XTI [only drawback no scissors but big plus two bit drivers]
3.Charge TI [serrated knife does not have the hook of TTI and XTI models, only one bit driver]
[Charge AL and Charge ALX are cheaper verrions (they are not made with tittanium of the ti and xti respectively]
4. Wave [The original model that gave birth to the charge with easy no open access to the four main blades: flat, serrated, saw and file]
In a seperate weight class are the super sexy:
Skeletool and Skeletool CX. Of which the CX wins for its half serated blade. These are super light weight knifes with all the necessities for a backpacking adventure! |
