Lots of fun to wear
Work out different muscles in your feet and legs
Everyone wants to talk to you about heel strike
They're not as comfortable to wear when wet and it takes a few seconds longer to put them on compared to sandals which makes them less useful as camp shoes.
I found them particularly uncomfortable to put on when they were wet and they don't dry out very quickly. I wore them canoeing all last year--even on a 7 day canoe camping trip--but have since gone back to Chacos since they dry faster and aren't as uncomfortable when wet.
Overall, I find the shoes fun and good for training, but for their price, not that practical.

great barefoot light hiking, river, watersports shoe. keeps the crap out and stays on (won't suck off underwater).
doesn't dry out so quickly... stays wet and can get a little cold.
newer models

I have been wearing my KSOs as often as possible. I wear them when I camp and just recently on a rocky hike up Bald Mountain. I love the feeling of almost barefoot. They do work different muscles. I would not run in them until my feet are ready for it. Overall I need another pair.
Very thin sole and they stink after wearing them for too long.
Komodos might be better if you plan on running in a pair.

Amazing ive never felt more in touch with the earth hiking than i have in these shoes. Climbing trees and jumping cross creeks rock to rock simply amazing
Getting used to them ankles sore for a bit but that is expected because you dont use the muscles properly till you where these shoes or go barefoot.
None i wear these or chacos on a regular basis.

Best investment I've ever made! Great for running.
It can take a while to get used to running in them.
