For additional protection from wet conditions, waterproof nubuck leather completely surrounds the lower portion of the upper. Integration technology brings together the critical attributes of the molded EVA midsole, molded thermoplastic urethane (TPU) torsion plate, and Vibram® Contact outsole. Instead of stacking these components as three independent layers, combining them into one interrelated unit reduces weight and unnecessary bulk. The Vasque Breeze XCR Hiking Shoe for women also includes a removable dual density EVA footbed for arch support and additional cushioning.
