Terrific design. Super compact and lightweight for when not in use, and super sharp when it's time to start cutting. I keep mine on an ultra lightweight locker with my emergency prusiks and rap rings. The catch locks the blade out, which provides a sense of security when you have to yard on the thing. It's surprising how easy it is to cut most any nylon with this knife. Just last week I got stuck in a storm high in Rocky Mountain NP and we had to use this rope to chop our stuck ropes. Put a little tension on the rope and barely have to touch the blade to it and ZOOSH, it's through it. I appreciate that Trango designed the knife to be "locked" in the closed position when hung on a 'biner. Also, the blade sits so flush with the body of the the knife that there is no chance of inadvertently cutting something with it. This knife is designed as an alpine knife, and for that it is hands down best in its class.
Nothing comes close.

Sharp as all hell and perfect size to hang with my car-keys or on my rack. I've used it for just about everything and it cuts clean through (duct tape, fabric, webbing, PB&J sandwich, my hand ... ).
It's quite a bit smaller than I had thought, which is good from a weight-perspective, but that means it's that much harder to open a beer with it.
