It is always the right temp (good thing since you can't adjust it), it is super clean (no soot or priming), it is efficient, it is cheap. Most importantly, it is LIGHT!! You can bring only the amount of fuel you need (about 1 oz per day, so you can save even more weight by putting the fuel in a little bottle). |
| Cooking over alcohol is not for everyone. It is not adjustable and it cooks kinda slow. This particular stove is kinda heavy for alcohol (I know, it is only a half ounce, but if you are reading this you might be intrigued by ultralight). |
