very quick to pack up in the morning, light weight, and doesn't become totally useless when those damned chipmunks decide to take a bite out of it. also can fold to make a nice seat by a spark throwing fire, something i wouldn't do with any inflatable pad.
bulky, but it straps to the outside of my pack, so it really doesn't matter

Inexpensive. Adds warmth. Can double with any pad for added comfort. Easy to strap to the outside of a pack. Packs fast. Saves knees on tent floors. Doesn't need air. :)
Not as comfy as air. Bulky.
Lightweight thermarest 3/4 pads.

Perfect pad for all of us out there trying to save every ounce possible. Usually trying to save weight leads to forking out more cash, but with this pad you save weight and money. Stores well and is immune to popping.
Just like every other pad out there it is bulky and the square folding design can be awkward to store. If planning on strapping to your pack it works just fine.
If you desire more comfort then I would recommend an inflatable, or something thicker. This pad can be doubled with another pad to protect the inflatable and obtain maximum luxury.

folds quickly, durable, light. I combine it with a shorty ALPS Mountaineering air-foam pad and I'm comfortable.
not that comfortable by itself. Still have to tie it up or secure it to attach to your pack. Pricey for the benefit.
Thermarest foam pads. Styrofoam cooler pieces. Your mom.

My newest favorite pad.. lite and does the job - keeps the cold from the ground and ok on the softness - price (-I picked mine up for $20 marked down)

Went to this because my inflatable (military issue) one was deflating during the night. This pad is light, Cheap, provides more support than my inflatable, perfect for poor backs/spines.
Bulky, condensation can build up in the bumps. Can tear up easily on the outside of a pack, depending.

I love this thing. Its light, comfortable, cheap, and durable. Mine has been through some slot canyons and gotten pretty beat up from the sandstone, but still does its job just fine.
Kind of bulky.

folds easy, doesn't curl up on the ends, lightweight, warm enough and smooths out the ground adequately.
not wide enough... i'm a toss n turner

Folding is a great upgrade from the roll. It stays put nomatter if you let go. Very ergonomicly designed. I love it!! I bought a thermarest inflatable pad and it popped so I bought this one instead. Ill never again buy an inflatable pad.
I'm not sure if the creases will last as long as a normal pad. Its held up so far but I've only had it for several months. Ask me in a few years.
No recommendations but to buy anything else.

Light. Comfortable. Easy to pack/store.
The material does not feel nice on bare skin.

As good as you can get without throwing down senseless extra cash for an inflatable.
