A well thought-out adventure racing compass. It has a magnifier, and common USGS series scales built into the base plate. It adjusts for declination with a small key the same way that a Silva Ranger works, The base plate also has notches where the lanyard ties in so that it can be layed entirely flat.
The only drawback that I see is that the hachures are spaced every two degrees and relatively thick and fuzzy to read. May result in imprecise readings.
Lightest compass that is accurate and has declination adjustment. No extra stuff to weigh you down. You can use the end of your knife to adjust declination.
