Cred: 5 | | You can abuse this bike. I use it for a commuter. I tried a SS road bike and a geared MT bike as a commuter but I needed something in between. The Surly 1x1 is the best commuter for me. I travel on some gravel roads, jump curbs, and dodge traffic with this bike. The bike doesn't look like much so I don't worry so much about it getting stolen. |
| I guess it is a litle heavy but I wanted a bike that would take some abuse. |
| I'm sure this bike could handle some single track if you put on a suspension fork. |
