| This guidebook not only neglects climbs in the cliffs it mentions, but entire areas replete with classics.
I think many of the difficulty ratings are off.
The star rating system is totally bogus.
On a weekend in the valley, I have seen climbers line up to do a climb that gets 4-5 supertopo stars. Meanwhile, adjacent climbs that are of at least equal quality are vacant. I think this creates a strange access issue where social trails, garbage, and other signs of high numbers of people surround a few select climbs. But, in some of the areas not mentioned, the climbers trail has disappeared into the brush. |
