Versatile, durable, and well tested. Great for anchors, slings, daisy chains, or anything else you can think of.
Cheap!

Slightly heavier than the high-tech cords.

6mm cordelette for light/fast stuff, but know your gear...

Great for building anchors...or hanging the hammock.

Can be tough to untie.
