Super fast shifting that you KNOW when it engages, RED doesn't leave you guessing. SRAM shifters have a nice square top for larger hands, and the doubletap system leaves the brake lever to do what it does best - brake. For wet weather riding I added HUDZ aftermarket hood covers, and this is the only shifter I run any more.
Carbon fiber levers are expensive to replace in a crash, but hopefully that doesn't happen often.
If you prefer a smoother actuation compared to SRAMS Ka-chunk, Look to the Shimano STI shifters in DA.
simply amazing. i havnt bought a set yet but rode my buddys. i've always been about sram for mountain bike, but after getting a tt bike with red and riding these shifter. i'll never go back with shimano and never been a fan of campy
