Cred: 28184 | | XT has always been top notch in my books; now with the XT V-brakes they are decent. They do what they are intended to do but I find that for a product that is suppose to be so high end they are really not. They will stop you bottom line and they are light weight. |
| The original break pads had an awful screeching noise. I know sometimes this is due to how the pads are adjusted but no matter what I tried to do it was to no avail. The pads were replaced and this seems to have alleviated the issue. |
| There are many different V brake models out on the market you should check out the Avid Single Digit SL Brake for another model that comes with good words about them. |
