umm this is my first and only headlamp but so far its freeking awesome. the light can be pointed straight up or down which can be nice for reading at night. it has 3 brightness settings. it fits your head as tight as you want and wont move an inch. also its very light at only 2.8oz (w/ batteries)
light, comfortable to wear and has various light settings. highly recommend this head lamp. best part.... super cost effective and does the job well. i own 3 headlamps and this one is just fine.
Latch for batteries brakes way too easily and renders the headlamp useless! This was the first headlamp I bought (about one year ago) and the latch busted off within three weeks. About two months ago I finally got around to getting a replacement (same kind of headlight) and two days later it was completely broken, with the same break. Obviously I'm a noob, but really I wasn't mishandling the headlamp nor trying to brake it. Be warned.
Very bright, great pivoting, fairly wide beam. Long battery life. I'm an avid backpacker and it seems to hold up pretty well in rain and everything too.
