Despite what some may say it works well! I haven't fully tested it's water-proof ability but it hasn't had problems yet.
Sometimes tough to open up to change batteries, you pretty much need something to open it up with (I usually have a penny in a bag with it along with extra batteries).
Wish it had a red light as a feature.
Compact size, 5 light settings. I have used this light for both hiking and climbing and it works well for both. The dimming light is great for camp or when talking to people...no one gets blinded.
The button is tiny and can be tough to find with cold hands or while wearing gloves.
