Cred: 584 | | Heats amazingly fast with the heat exchanger, big capacity. I got this for a steal from SAC and am ok with the purchase, but glad I didn't pay full price. Would be best served for car camping with at least two folks. |
| Heat exchangers cause food to cool off quickly after cooking. It's got many parts and is a bit bulky and complicated for backpacking. Maybe for a big group (4 or more) you could maybe justify one person carrying this. |
| Well, for car camping there is no alternative needed, but for backpacking? Just about anything smaller. I've used MSR whisperlites with great long term success. |

Cred: 345 | | Awesome stove for car camping! Very easy to assemble, wind shield is nice. |
| Bulky, not for backpacking, but I've still used it for backpacking...:) |

Cred: 11 | | Awesome boil time, easy to use, easy to clean...well worth purchasing. |
| Probably not the best if you are backpacking, short on space or don't want to be weighed down. |
