I have had this stove for many many years. This stove has never let me down. It is extremely esay to use, very light weight and every durable. You can buy the wind shield which helps with boiling time. Comes with convenient stuff sack. Very easy to adjust flame, and works on basic Butane/Propane fuel do not need to get Primus fuel for stove.
Cheap! Good simmer if you don't have much wind. I believe there is a wind shield available for it, but it's just as easy to put it on the leeward side of a rock, tree, or pack. Great flame control overall, the flames on this rival my home cooktop when you turn it up.
Decently lightweight. As long as you push it with Primus PowerGas it will burn really hot and boil water easy. I also like the build in wind block and how that also allows the stove to hold bigger pots.
Only really works well with Primus gas, if you use MSR or Jetboil gas it doesn't seem to burn as hot.
This stove's compact size, quick boil time and ease of use make it great for backpacking. The single best feature is its adjustable flame: it can simmer water, even perfectly brown a quesadilla.
