one burly rope, for the toughest, crags, a bit heavy for alpine but durable
this rope is abrasive, it burns the hands easily. I've heard a lot of problems have been had with the core coming out, but in 3 years of hard use i have had no problems with this rope.
I'm becoming a Mammut fan

Nice and supple and ready to climb right out of the bag. I've got the dry treated version.
As one other commenter suggested...it does burn the hands a little on belay.
I really like this rope so not sure why I'd recommend another?
