Cred: 443 | | multiple brightness settings, flash mode, extra bright switch, tiltable, awesome easy to use diffuser/spot slider. battery indicator is great to have as well. batteries are also easy to switch out. still kickin' years later and can still hold it's own against similar newer headlamps. Cred: 313 | | 2 brightness levels and flash mode, boost button, comfortable head band, and colored filters |
| It doesn't tilt down far enough. After a certain point the plastic clicks stop and it points straight down. This makes it a little bit difficult for thins such as reading. |
| the Princeton Tec Remix is also a favorite of mine. The remix only has RED and white LED's where as the Tikka XP has the Option of red, blue, green, white, and a diffuser filter. |

|
Cred: 5 | | Great battery life, also has 3 levels of brightness to save battery life when reading maps.
The burst mode is REALLY bright when you need it! |
| My only grief is that it doesn't have a red diffuser like other headlamps... |
