Cred: 1700 | | Like the BD ATC is the standard in belay hardware, this is pretty much the standard for headlamps. There are no bells and whistles to this: it is what it is and nothing more and nothing less. It is relatively bright and lights well at night. If you're for something that's not flashy (no pun intended), this is it. It's great for minimalists. It has two settings: on and off. |
| It could be a little brighter, however, it serves its purpose. |
| Something with a little more lumen action. |

| Not the brightest, but then again it was an incredible revolution at the time. |

Cred: 270 | | a great head lamp for night climbing. it doesn't have the high cost of the higher end lamps, but works great! |
|
Cred: 5 | | This headlamp has a great price tag, is super bright, and is quite durable, as are most things made by petzl |
| When the batteries begin to run low, their is a noticible flicker of the headlamp, and it does seem to go through batteries more quickly than the more expensive petzl's some of my friends own |
