Simple and effective! Small, low profile. runs on 2 AAAs. I was issued a few of these by the military in Iraq and it was great to fill generators without a flashlight in my teeth. My niece likes hers so she can read in bed at camp with the red light and not disturb others. Adjusts, tilts and switches between white and red easily. Nuff said.
The Best!! Super comfy, super bright, super long lasting battery. I love having the red light option, and I love not needing to cycle through various white light options before getting to it. Great for stumbling around a tent or hostel room in the dark without waking everyone up.
I guess the next step would be to try to make it fully waterproof.
Great overall headlamp! Love the flip up red filter. Also the unit is easily adjustable to fit on a helmet or on your head. Also the fact that it runs on 2 AA batteries is great!
Easy to use, simple on and off rather than clicking through different brightnesses. The red lens cover is great for hunting and for not losing you night vision.
