LED's are about like a petzl tikka, good close range lighting. The xenon bulb is pretty bright

Xenon bulb juices the battery and the bulb needs replacement after awhile if you want to maintain brightness

Petzl perfected the head lamp with this one.
Unlike the old twist lamps that would turn on in your bag, the new one has a lock. Along with three good LEDs makes for my perfect lamp.

The beam is too dim to be useful. The unit is too large to warrant buying it for the led lights
