Fact is, the Stand Up Shorts are tougher than stink and built to last, so we'd be surprised if your old pair wasn't still holding up. More than likely you just want a second pair, because you can't go a single summer day without reaching for the burly double-seat construction, huge rear pockets, and heavy cotton canvas that gets softer with age and use. A spare pair means you can put your old ones in the wash, maybe for the very first time. We won't tell.
