I have nothing but respect for Patagonia. Capilene is just a fancy word for polyester (I think) but it kept me warm in the winter before I outgrew it. The sizes run a little small in my opinion but check it out anyway. If you outgrow or damage any capilene product, they will recycle it and turn it into more capilene. Patagonia is extremely earth conscious (+4 earth points).
Great base layer or even by itself on days too warm for a bigger jacket. It runs kinda small. I wear a large in most things, sometimes medium, but I have an extra large in this. It fits long arms really well.
