Good Features
I got a white capilene 1 crew recently and took it hiking the other day. Used it as a base layer during the start of a long trek, while it was still cold outside. It did its job! I expected to have to change into a tight fitting short sleeve wicking tee as the day progressed...as the temperature was to rise to 90 degrees. However, I found myself wearing this throughout the whole day...keeping me cool, and sunburn free. It seems to hold odor a bit more than my other wicking base layers, but for its performance, I believe that is a fair tradeoff. Heres a tip, pre soak in vinegar and water, and wash with a lil vinegar in the cycle..and the funk is eliminated.
