Cute and fun. Gortex hat is well-constructed and keeps rain off face, neck and shoulders--way better than just a hood. Comes in bright colors. Rolls up to pack small.
It is warm--too warm to wear just as a sun hat on hot days.

Yes it will keep sun off... rain off, and keep your head warm on the coldest of days.
You can not wear this hat in anything remotely warm... you will simply bake your brain. So wish this hat worked better cause it is a great concept.
