| after carrying this pack for a 10 day trip, estimated weight of 60lbs i was very happy with how it handled such a small load. after 2-3 days (10-15 miles) i was fully used to carrying it, infact, after a few days i let basically all the weight ride just on my hip belt, other than the initial period where i was getting acclimated to carrying a pack again, it never was uncomfortable. having many many compression straps was great with as small a load as i was using it to carry was awesome, especially on the couple days where i could straight jacket the pack and really make it carry much more solidly. |
| the straps where the waist belt meets the back panel often loosened up, but that's a mere annoyance. |
