the Atmos 65 is my work horse pack. it's not unusual for me to throw everything i need to set-up a few top rope climbing sites in to this pack.

the waist belt pockets are an awesome idea. it's great to have my snacks on hand, or compass, anythign i want at hand really.

this pack likes to tag along on weekend hikes up the local mountains where the mesh back panel makes its impression on my hiking buddies, having most of the sweat that normally builds up on my back evaporate off makes a notable difference in the amount out of moisture in my shirt. and if, in the event i want to squeeze a little more room out of my pack, i can take my hydration bladder and slide it down inside the back panel, for the features that this pack offers over the Atmos 50 (sleeping bag zipper, and an internal access zipper being the 2 that decided which pack i walked out of the store with) i'd expect to see the atmos 50 be retired or revisited by osprey some day soon.
it's really quite hard for me to get water bottles in and out of the elasticized, vertical pockets on the pack. even more so when the compression straps that run over them are tight.

the lid strap right behind my head is hard to adjust

the internal access zipper isn't visible, i rarely remember it's there

Used this for 1000 miles of an AT thru-hike and loved it! It's lightweight, has a good number of pockets / straps to fit whatever organizational strategy suits you, and is backed by Osprey's any time / any reason warranty. It's fairly durable (see the note about the corners in the cons section), has dually-accessible water bottle holders (both holster and upright). I used it for a few months with a pack weight of 25 - 45 pounds and it was great.
Rides a bit more on my shoulders than other bags I've used, though this may be a trade-off for the light weight. Also the material at the bottom corners of the frame started wearing through from putting it down / moving it around on rough terrain, though the warranty repair was quick, effective and free.

Beautiful design. I like that they allow you to access the empty space behind the backpanel--can jam a couple extra soft goods there if need be.
Although very breathable I wish the shoulder straps had a bit more stiffness to them to dissipate the load more. That's not even a real complaint b/c they are comfortable straps, but only seem to bother me on longer hikes with a heavy load.

I love this pack. I have been able to fit so much even though it looks like it wont fit. Has a ton of storage. And rides well while hiking
Straps are lacking a ton of padding. I dont care

Breathability, Durable, Light, Big. Great warm weather pack.
Not as comfortable under heavier loads
Best that I am aware of for this particular niche.

sleeping bag compartment is a tad tight on the -20 bag... not that you'd ever use the two together
