Omega Pacific Jake Quik-Lok
4.3 out of 5 based on 11 user reviews.
I been using one from a friend, loved it so much, I got two of my own.
-Always locks back by itself.
-I got the keylock gate, so it doesn't snag on ropes.
-Easy to open with one hand
-Big, I manage to fit it through a grigri, but it took some effort and twisting.
-If you want more gate lock security, get the 3-Stage quick-lok.
The angled gate makes the opening enormous. Big biner, great for use with basic belay devices (ATC, Reverso, etc). Auto-locking gate.
Heavy. Expensive. Too thick to use with a Grigri or Cinch. The gate on mine wore out after only ~3-4 months. Nice biner, but there are much better ones for the money.
Great biner, I always use it with my ATC device. Very big opening and easy to open with one hand while your hands are frozen in big gloves.
Kind of a pain to use with a grigri, it fits but takes some twisting to get it in place. It is big and heavy but if you are mountaineering or ice climbing then thats good cause of the frozen hands and big gloves.
The Jake is great for rigging, rappelling, and belaying. They are a really good all around biner.
Smooth, light, always locks back
you have to unlock it to take of gear loop
easy to open, feels solid, thick so it can be used for belaying and rappelling.
Great biner, huge bucket, smooth action.
Gotta shell out the big bucks for your belay biner.
Big, handles large indoor ropes well. Holds larger then average force loads.
AMAZING! I own 12 and I love them!
Awesome, always locks right never any issues
