hard for me to tell one end from the other, opening or hinge; yet to be a problem climbing though; non symmetrical works better for me but I ordered them and that might be what works for others
I like the Omega Pacific Classic, heavier but for me it is not the extra 100 grams from ten heavier carabiners that is holding me back from the next grade up.
