| Very stiff and doesnt break in with use. It is so stiff you have to work hard to tie a tight figure-8 follow through. With the weave and stiffness of the sheath, you get pumped when using it with a GriGri. If you twist the rope and weight it, you will never get rid of all the curls. The original Glider was a great rope but this version of the Glider isnt. Its hard to believe that New England can still call it a Gilder after completely changing the sheath and handling characteristics of this rope. |
