I got a small crack in the pump (found out too late) /I pumped it up started the stove and the gad leak flamed up... I was able to pull the can off the stove and luckly I was on gavel because once the flame opened up it it because a flame thrower ,,, gavel and dirt had no effect - let it burn out - with a 5 foot long flame. TG I was not near bruxh or ground cover or anything flamable... I would had had an uncontrolable fire - I wish I saw the crack.
For white gas stove it was my go to stove. Please check over the plastic carefully - the smallest crack will not end well.
The only part of my MSR stove that I dont quit trust, gets some weird leaks if the bottle is full and I pump too much. Got another one though and no problems, this review is really just encouragement to carry a couple of these, which I think are the weakest link in MSR stoves.
