Cred: 2338 | | I have 4 of these... varying sizes and varying eras of production. They are very useful. The newer versions with the "handle" are alot easier to use. The varying weights between the different types is dramatic... I have found that the lighter weight versions are completely sufficient with ALOT less weight. You sacrifice most of the grommets (useless anyway except for the top one for hanging) and the outer material is a lighter weight material. |
| LIDS... I've taken to using plumbing tape (the white stuff used on the threads of plumbing connections) as a way to "limit" leakage. Seriously, they have been manufacturing these things a long time now and haven't really changed the lids at all. Good thing, standard Nalogene lid fits and removes two of the three potential points of leakage. Still not enough of an issue to take it below 5-stars! |
