MSR Denali | MSR Denali 4.1 out of 5 based on 7 user reviews.
Cred: 324 | | great traction for icy or steep trails, easy but secure bindings, plastic feels more solid to me than the fabric type shoes. |
| The optional "extra flotation" tails are useless, IMHO - when testing them in deep powder i sank thigh deep with them or without them on, so I returned them. |
| The fancier version of this shoe has a heel lift bar that makes going uphill considerably easier on your calves. |
|
Cred: 4460 | | Easy and strong binding, great teeth on both the foot and running the length of the shoe. |
| Poor float and down turned out side lip cranks your ankle on inclines. Heal riser bar is a must, get the upgrade with the extra floats if you must snow shoe. |
|
Cred: 206 | | Excellent traction when icy.
Float tail option great when carrying a heavy overnight pack.
Works with just about any footwear.
Only brand of snowshoe I would buy! |
| They are noisy. If you are looking for quiet outing in the snow look elsewhere. |
|
Cred: 863 | | light and great full rail crampons for traction |
| i don't have the elevator rail on mine. also they are difficult to adjust just right so they stay on but don't constrict so much you freeze your toes |
|
Cred: 51 | | Good traction, lightweight, durable, comfortable to wear, easy to learn on due to small size. |
|
Cred: 68 | | light, you can adjust the length by adding tails |
| could use a better binding system |
|
Cred: 55 | | Easy to get on, secure fit, light |
