Light and simple. This was my first pot set after bumming off of friends. My large pan warped after a winter climbing trip and was used to melt alot of snow. I rarely use the set car camping more than anything now
Warp under heat and in duffel bag.

It's nice and light - perfect for 1-3 people on a backcountry trip. Everything fits in nicely together in the included mesh bag since there are no handles sticking out. The lid also doubles as a frying pan.
The first time you use the pots, they turn black. On their website though, they say the black is good. It supposedly helps absorb and distribute heat more evenly.
This is probably one of the best cooksets in its price range.

Totally Sweet and durable.
the plate thingie is hard grip with the pot gripper. Heavy - steel is always heavier but you only have to buy it once.

Very durable. No bad taste left behind. Easy to clean and shine up. Light and the lids double as plates.

i have used the plate to dig with, left a pot in the coals of the fire all night, used them as drums, and i still have this set...stainless, baby.
