Movement Self-Coached Climber: The Guide to Training Performance | Movement Self-Coached Climber: The Guide to Training Performance 5 out of 5 based on 2 user reviews.
Cred: 594 | | The most in-depth approach to climbing technique I have seen. I have completely re-thought a lot of my goals and ideas in climbing.
Through self-assessment, you not only improve your techniques, but you are directed to what aspects you need to work on and improve. An excellent approach to making long term improvement. The included DVD is a great compliment to the text that clearly illustrates the exercises and theory. After just 2 weeks, I have already seen an improvement in my climbing abilities. This book has honestly rekindled my passion for climbing! |
| Doesn't tell you much about how to climb slab.
Not much discussion on injury prevention. |
| I've read several climbing fitness books, as well as Falcon Guide's "How to climb 5.12", and I have found them all inferior to this book. |

Cred: 303 | | Hands-down, the best book on climbing technique. Buy this book, and you WILL become a better climber. Made more of a difference in my footwork in two weeks than months of "just climb!" attitude. The included DVD is an excellent guide to the various activities presented in the book. Stop reading and buy this book already!! |
