Durable, fits plenty of gear, waist belt and shoulder straps are well padded, doesn't move around as much as some other packs, zippered pockets on each side fit a large water bottle, top detaches as a lumbar pack - good for taking your lunch or first aid kit up a climb. I got it for a great price on closeout.
A bit on the heavy side at four and a half pounds. Mesh pockets on sides not terribly useful, too shallow - most water bottles fall out so you need to either use a bladder or clip your water bottle to a front strap.
