Cred: 5 | | This bag is really comfortable. I won't say as soft as down, but it gets pretty close. I slept in 42 degree weather in just shorts and a t-shirt and was fine (I am a very active and fit young male so this probably has something to do with it). Oh yeah, I got the mens model. The little storage pocket (for keys, chapstick, etc.) is pretty handy. This is incredibly light weight and I was able to pack it down to 11 inches by 6 inches. I probably could have made it 10 inches by 6 inches, but I don't want to put too much stress on the nylon compression sack. |
| This could use a draft tube and I had to tighten up the face gasket pretty good to keep in all the my body heat, but a hat wearing a hat could have done the trick. It is a little tricky to get inside the bag and get the zippers closed. Also when I used the arm holes the zippers unzipped more than I would have liked and thus made the arm holes larger than I would have liked. These things are all pretty mild if you are just going to use it for sleeping. |
