Good Features Carries load comfortably. Excellent capacity. I carry full rack (doubles on most sizes), 10 draws, 4-5 24" to 48" slings, shoes, harness, helmet, chalkbag, snacks, rain jacket, 2x Nalgene bottles or 1 camelback bladder (has interior pocket with separate access for bladder), and guidebook with ease. Can also fit 60m 10.1mm rope if needed (I usually split rope/rack with partner). Split panel design means easy access to everything. Rugged--can be abused. Convenient pockets and pouches. Metal clips on ice tool keeper cords function moderately well as bottle openers. Bad Features Half moon zipper on interior mesh pocket allows stuff to fall out. Not a huge issue as there is another mesh pocket with horizontal zipper underneath it. Recommended Alternatives ArcTeryx Miura packs are similar, but slightly smaller. I tested both out at the shop and decided on the Splitter. Very content with it. | Add a Review | Read 2 Retailer DescriptionsFrom Mountain Gear:Created especially for those days you spend on the rock, the Mountain Hardwear Splitter Crag Pack has organization and panel-loading designed to keep your shoes, chalk, protection, ropes, and essentials organized and easy to reach.
