As with all climbing gear quality is the key issue. This harness is literally 'Bomb Proof" and built to last years even with hard use. It is also incredibly comfortable. Surprisingly lightweight enough to send hard sport routes and durable enough to live in on big walls.
Nothing bad about it. Although you get what you pay for the price is high but so is the quality. Well worth it. It will also outlast 3 or 4 lightweight "Sport" harnesses.
Nothing really built like it I know of. Yates used to make some great harnesses. And some of the Black Diamond harnesses are durable. But none compare to the all around the Cadillac has.
Best harness I've ever had. I'm on my third one. Plush, comfortable ... I could hang out all day in this -- which is a good thing, since I'm a horrible climber.
