dense closed cell foam at the top provides a good catch for big falls, even if a little stiff at first. great back straps and handle for easy transportation. buckles keep it closed and the angled hinge makes it so you don't fall between the pads
This pad is real dense, so it catches you well on longer falls. It has an angle cut into the hinge so the center feels pretty solid like a taco style pad. The top has a nice surface for cleaning your shoes on. Probably the best deal around for the price, I see a lot of people with em now.
Could maybe use a couple extra loops to pull it around by while open.
