I originally thought these were a "specialty piece" only for pin scarred routes, but the more I use them, the more I seem to find good placements for them on a variety of climbs. They seem to excel particularly well on:
Alpine climbs, where the rock can be irregular.
Pin scarred areas.
Sandstone, where the cracks are often flaring.
Offset lobes really fit in so many cracks they are a great addition to your rack. Like the deep ribbed texture in comparison to BD C4s. Smooth action and comfortable
