Using this as a front on a FR/DH HardTail with a 6" travel fork. My normal tire of choice for the front is the Maxxis Minion FR 3C 2.5 but decided to give this tire a shot on a new build. The Ardent I am riding is the 2.6 3C version with a Maxxis 2.35 60D Highroller in the rear.

Braking control is very nice not bad on late braking or technical control. Once leaned over on the side knobs it corners well. Still not as good as a Minion.

The transition from center to side knobs is slippery. The inbetween knobs are very small so the transition from full knob to transition knob to full knob causes a slide before hooking up. If you like sliding the front this is a great tire but if you want a tight carving tire this isn't for you.
