I fount these forks to be pretty damb strong, I sluged a landing face hard and they just kept on workin.... unlike my nose. Not the longest travel with about 4" but their light enough not to notice any major nose dive tendancies. I love em and wouldnt swap em!

My disc brake wont fit it properly and I find they tend to adjust them selfs occasionly... but im sure that this is only my beef and not the forks.

Rockshox PIKE 426 Coil U-turn would work well,
