Dependable. All around good rope. Sterling ropes tend to be less stiff out of the coil than my experience with other ropes (Beal, Mammut, Petzl).
Seems to show wear and tear (fuzzing of the sheath) more quickly than "stiffer" ropes. Seems to coil just as much as any other new rope. Package coiling can be minimized by pulling the rope all the way through to the other side every couple of climbs.
Beal tend to be super cheap.
Petzl & Mammut tend to offer more features.
