Cred: 3877 | | Most XC riders love the feel of Air with it's lack of low speed small bump absorption. Used the S-Type on a 4" travel AM bike but most of my riding is aggressive AM/FR/DH and this shock was amazing!! The mid stroke is very smooth and active sucking up everything keeping the rear tire hooked up at all times. Launched a few jumps with it and typical Manitou Air feel, bottomless.
