Cred: 27 | | light. cheapest guide atc i could find. smooth rappels. and its called the vader. some people on other sites talk about the wire cover blowing out, used mine about 5 months now, never had a problem and even if it does its not structural. electrical tape would cover it if it bothered you. have used with 9.8mm to 11mm without a problem, a lot of friction on 11mm tho |
| using my 10.2 maxim glider there is very little friction for a catch. could be the rope. can be good to give soft catches though. EDIT: had to add...seems to form very sharp edges relatively quickly. one year of use, and im retiring it. |
