| This rope feels good in the hand and is durable (no middle fuzzing only ends = normal).
Durable and takes a sharp edge fall. |
| To fat that it locks up belay devices (thicker than 11mm ropes) and drags terribly oh and it's Heavy. |
| I actually would not reccomend this rope despite it being a "good rope" just because it is so thick it drags terribly, locks of belay devices easily and is very heavy. Though for Top roping and falling alot it is a pretty good bet =)
I would reccomend other 10.2's from Sterling or another manufacturer. Mammut just runs really really fat so I'd get a 9.8 or 9.5 next Time from Mammut. |
