This is a great rope. The 70m weighs less than my 60m B.W. 10.5. Not only is it a dry rope, the extra coating on it keeps the ice off it. When I need to replace it, I will be buying the same thing.
The only thing I will change on my next purchase would be the color. I paid an extra $30 for the Duodess. In the pictures it looks realy easy to determine the center. In reality it is quite easy to miss the center when setting up the rapel. You can't miss the center of my Blue Water bi-color. This is why I gave it only 4 stars.
Get the orange color and mark the center.

Besides how light and durable this rope is, my favorite moment of it was unpacking it for the first time. Mammut has this great way of coiling their ropes so that there's no need to untangle it or uncoil it the first time in a special way -- just take the plastic off and it's ready to go!
Center mark is easy enough to find on my orange one.
The only thing that could make this better is if it were bi-color so make distinguishing which end is which and the center a little easier, but that's a small qualm and not really important.

Excellent rope! I love this and has been through alot with me. From The glaciers of New Zealand, Alpine climbs in Montana, sport climbs, trad, and has been used for a toprope probabbly more than it should have, and I now own 2 because i really like them. They are light but durable. Can't go wrong with this piece of gear.

If I could give this a 4.75 stars I would
Handles great
feeds nice
middle mark, and end marks
fairly light
fairly durable Ive been leading on mine for probally a combined year still looks and feels great. (Ive gotten a fatter cord for every day cragging/top roping keep this rope in better shape.)
Not much I can think of... perhaps price if I was forced to say something
I also run a BlueWater 10.5 for everyday trashing. I like all of Mammuts ropes.

My buddies and I love climbing with this rope (but I reserve it for multi-pitch routes). Handles well, holds knots, light and catches fall with relative comfort
Orange is by far the better color in the mountains, marks are clear and have held up under two years use well.
Expensive

This rope handles awesome, is lite weight, bright orange makes it easy to find. Works great with atc's and trango. My favorite rope by far.

Love it! Great glide, ties well, wears well, and good rope factor (smooth catch) Great for Trad to Alpine.
Middle mark wears out (big woop)

Sorry, but I got my rope and just had to answer because I red the review before buying it.... To the dude above who said you can miss the center..... You're color and design blind. One side has very THICK blue stipes and alternates with very thick bright orange stripes and the other has very thin interchanging stripes that alternate. Can't miss the center. Or maybe you were checking out a female climber?
Great rope, dependable and strong!
