| Mammut Eiger Rope 4.2 out of 5 based on 9 user reviews.
Cred: 40569 | | Review by marks on Dec. 12, 2007 | | I bought this rope in a hurry but I am very pleased with it. Even though it is a non-dry, it is holding up really well from abrasion (quartz and granite). Haven't tried it in wet conditions yet.
I would recommend it for working problems at your local crags. |
| For it's intended purpose nothing. If your doing ice, alpine etc. get something else. |

Cred: 19 | | Has lasted almost 2 years now w/o issue. Washed once and I'm still confident (see Mammut rope guide, this IS a recommended step at points in the rope's life). Great on TR. |
| Something thinner to lead with |

Cred: 98 | | great all around rope, wonderful fall stretch, not to hard to clip |
| not a dry-rope, a little too much static stretch for my liking |

Cred: 229 | | very durable, burly at 10.5 but not terribly heavier than 10.2 |
